Terms of Service

What this service is and is not

AscendCELPIP is a preparation tool for the CELPIP exam and for learning English. It is run by an individual; you can reach us at yurchenkowork7@gmail.com.

We are not affiliated with Paragon Testing Enterprises and are not an official CELPIP partner. We do not administer the exam, do not register you for it, and do not issue official results.

The scores and CLB levels shown in the app are our own assessment, including automated assessment. They show your progress and weak spots; they do not predict your official exam result and cannot substitute for it.

Your account

An account is for one person. You may not share access with others.

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done under your account. If you notice someone else signing in, change your password and write to us.

By registering you confirm that you are at least 16 years old.

What you may not do

Bulk-extract the task bank, texts, or audio; automate access with scripts; resell or republish the content of the service.

Circumvent plan limits, interfere with our servers, or access other people's accounts and data.

Upload other people's personal data or unlawful content in your writing and speaking submissions.

If you break these rules we may limit or close your access. For serious breaches, without warning and without a refund for the current period.

Payment, renewal, and cancellation

Some features are free; others require a paid subscription. Current prices are shown in the app before you pay.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each paid period at the price in effect at renewal. We give at least 30 days' notice of a price increase.

You can cancel any time on the Subscription screen. Cancelling stops the next charge; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We neither see nor store your card numbers.

Refunds

Every paid plan comes with a 7-day free trial, and the free plan gives AI reviews every day. That is where you try the product; a refund is a remedy for a mistaken purchase, not a second trial.

We refund your first payment in full if you write to yurchenkowork7@gmail.com within 7 days of that payment, provided you have used no more than 3 AI reviews and have not started a mock exam since it.

One-time purchases: a mock exam is refundable while the run has not been started; the 14-day Exam Sprint is refundable within 48 hours of purchase and only if no AI review has been used under it.

Renewals are not refunded. Cancelling stops the next charge, and access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

AI reviews are performed the moment you submit an answer. Work already done is not refundable, which is why the limits above are counted in reviews rather than in days alone.

If the service was down through our fault for more than 24 hours in a row, or an AI review failed and produced no result, write to us: we extend your subscription or return the money for that part, whichever you prefer.

Our content and your submissions

Tasks, texts, audio, feedback, and the interface belong to us or are licensed to us. You get the right to use them for your own preparation, and nothing more.

Your writing and speaking submissions remain yours. We process them to score them and show feedback; we do not publish them, do not pass them to anyone beyond the processors named in the privacy policy, and do not use them to train models.

Availability and changes

We keep developing the service: features appear, change, and are removed. Planned maintenance and unplanned outages both happen.

If a change removes a feature that was part of your paid plan, you may cancel and receive a refund for the unused part of the period.

Ending access

You may delete your account at any time. This is permanent and erases your study history.

We may close access if you breach these terms, or if the service shuts down. In the latter case we give at least 30 days' notice and refund the unused part of your period.

Warranties and liability

The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee any particular exam score: the result depends on your preparation, not on the number of tasks you complete.

Automated scoring can be wrong. Do not decide when to book your exam on that basis alone.

We are liable for direct damage caused by our fault, up to the amount you paid over the previous 12 months. This limit does not apply where the law does not allow it.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We will email you and show a notice in the app at least 14 days before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new version; if you disagree, cancel your subscription and delete your account.
